| I bought Braeside Cottage in 1988 from Mrs Donald and rebuilt it over the next 2 years. Like Braeside the Croft was built into the slope of the land and there would be no point of view that would match the painting cont | ||

| which can help. the original Braeside seems to date from 1790's and had a much shallower roof slope and squat appearance compared with the Picture. I hope that helps |
